‘Alternative’ or ‘Ethical’ Clothes

Jul 3 2007 - 2:34pm

Following campaigns by the international anti-sweatshop movement that have increased consumer interest, a number of goods billing themselves as "ethical", "alternative" or "fairly produced" have been introduced.

The Clean Clothes Campaign offers an overview of some alternative and fair trade companies and brands that lists questions to ask when shopping for clothing that respects workers' rights.

The overview can be found on the Clean Clothes Campaign website [1].
